If you want to improve multiplication, knowledge of your child multiplication game is the best choice. It is suitable for all ages, and adults can also get benefit from it. All you have to do is give the correct answer to every question and move to the next level. It is free and can be shared among five to six family members. There is another way of learning by using the game:

Introduce a game in class that can help students to learn actively.

A good way to introduce a game to the class is for the teacher to play the game against the class. After briefly explaining the rules, ask students to make the class’s next move. Teachers may also want to model their strategy by talking aloud for students to hear his or her thinking. “I placed my game marker on the six because that would give me the largest number.”

Games are fun and can create a context for developing students’ mathematical reasoning. Through playing and analyzing games, students also develop their computational fluency by examining strategies that are more efficient and by discussing relationships among numbers. Teachers can create opportunities for students to explore mathematical ideas by planning questions that prompt students to reflect on their reasoning and make predictions. Remember to always vary or modify the game to meet the needs of your leaners. Encourage the use of the Common Core’s Standards for Mathematical Practice.

Most kids find multiplication boring, so to resolve this problem, we present Multiplication Game with attractive graphics that increase the involvement of your kid. In the game, you have only to choose a table from 1-12 and start answering the questions. It is a great, multiplication testing app.

People of all ages love to play games that are fun and motivating. Games give students opportunities to explore fundamental number concepts, such as the counting sequence, one-to-one correspondence, and computation strategies. Engaging mathematical games can also encourage students to explore number combinations, place value, patterns, and other important mathematical concepts. Further, they afford opportunities for students to deepen their mathematical understanding and reasoning. Teachers should provide repeated opportunities for students to play games, then let the mathematical ideas emerge as students notice new patterns, relationships, and strategies. Games are an important tool for learning in elementary school mathematics classrooms:

  • Playing games encourages strategic mathematical thinking as students find different strategies for solving problems and deepen their understanding of numbers.
  • When played repeatedly, games support students’ development of computational fluency.
  • Games present opportunities for practice, often without the need for teachers to provide the problems. Teachers can then observe or assess students and work with individuals or small groups of students.
  • Games have allowed students to develop familiarity with the number system and engage in computation practice, building a deeper understanding of operations.
  • Games support a school-to-home connection. Parents can learn about their children’s mathematical thinking by playing games with them at home.

According to speed, the game has three levels i.e., slow, medium, and fast. You can choose /the speed level and touch to start the game. Questions start appearing on the snakehead that can be moved left, right as the answers are in the blocks. Every block has one correct answer you have to pass for the next question.

Multiplication game has made math easy and fun for kids. Because if kids are not interested in math, they are interested in playing the game anytime that helps them to learn. They can test their knowledge they have learned until now. Multiplication game not only helps the kid to memorize tables but also to improve their multiplication skills if they are lacking.

A game holds the ability to keep a player busy for a long time. In order to get such results, the graphics of the game are very important. Especially the games designed for kids have to do this job well. The designers should use the colors that are not too flashy to save kid’s eyesight from any harm. The designs should be different from all other games so that they can attract a larger audience. Kids are picky than adults, so while launching a game for kids category, developers need to study the psychology of that generation. Kids of the present age intelligent and smart they do not go with the idea of old things; they always want to see something new and different so that they can talk about it with their friends. Multiplication games give sharp kids the chance to test their skills and weak ones to improve learning. This fun game allows kids to have fun while learning, and parents can also participate in in-game to check the learning skills of their child. Technology has made study fun. Now children can try different things within their classrooms apart from just notebooks and textbooks.

Holding Students Accountable

If you are going to have an eye on the learning improvement of your students, do it the right way. Every time it is not the only fault of students to perform low, sometimes the responsibility lies on parents and teachers who do not help to move forward by learning better. If you really want your student or child to improve and help them in learning so while playing games, have their record mathematical equations or representations of the mathematical tasks. This yields data for students and teachers to revisit to examine their mathematical understanding. According to which they can take initiatives to help them well.

After playing a game, have students reflect on the game by asking them to discuss questions orally or write about them in a mathematics notebook or journal:

  • What skills you practice?
  • Which strategy you use while playing the game?
  • If you are going to play a game a second time, what will make you successful?
  • How can you make the game more challenging for yourself to sharpen your brain?

ü For a student to become fluent in math, “he must understand the efficient and accurate method of understanding numbering system.”

ü Problem solving and experiences give students an idea about the properties of arithmetic and their ability to solve mathematics.

ü Fluency means being efficient and having an accurate understanding of properties and number relations.

ü Computational fluency refers to having efficient and accurate methods for computing. Students exhibit computational fluency when they demonstrate flexibility in the computational methods they choose, understand and can explain these methods, and produce accurate answers efficiently.

Building Fluency

Fluency requires a balance and connection between conceptual understanding and computational proficiency. Computational methods that are over-practiced without understanding are forgotten or remembered incorrectly. Developing computational fluency is an expectation of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Games provide an opportunity for meaningful practice. The research about how students develop fact mastery indicates that drill techniques and timed tests do not have the power that mathematical games and other experiences have. Appropriate mathematical activities are essential building blocks to develop mathematically proficient students who demonstrate computational fluency.

The kinds of experiences that teachers offer their students clearly play a major role in determining the extent and quality of students’ learning. Students can build understanding by actively engaging in tasks and experiences designed to deepen and connect their knowledge. Procedural fluency and conceptual understanding can be developed through problem-solving, reasoning, and argumentation. The meaningful practice is necessary to develop fluency with basic number combinations and strategies with multi-digit numbers. Practice should be purposeful and should focus on developing thinking strategies and a knowledge of number relationships rather than on drill in. Do not subject any student to computation drills unless the student has developed an efficient strategy for the facts included in the drill. Drills can strengthen strategies with which students feel comfortable—those they “own”—and will help make these strategies increasingly automatic. Therefore, strategy drills will allow students to increase efficiency, even to the point of recalling a fact without being conscious of using a strategy.

Some teachers solely practice number facts in games that do not engage students for a long time as they are student-based to recall and memorize facts. Some students memorize faster than others who need time to compute facts. When students are placed in situations in which recall speed determines success, they may infer that being “smart” in mathematics means getting the correct answer quickly instead of valuing the process of thinking. Consequently, students may feel incompetent when they use number patterns or related facts to arrive at a solution and may begin to dislike mathematics because they are not fast enough.
